Hey!

I’m Niamh, a fast-learning graphic designer and proud Harry Potter nerd who loves a good coffee.

I am currently in my second year of BA Graphic Design at Arts University Bournemouth where I aim to create beautiful and meaningful work. Recently, I created an 80-page book which has sparked an interest in editorial design. I love to see my work exist beyond the screen and enjoy the physicality of a printed book. In my spare time, I am designing a zine about Sneakers, Basketball and Hip Hop as well as designing a travel photography book based on my experiences in Australia and the USA.

I have strong digital skills in both Adobe Photoshop and InDesign and have improved my skills in After Effects during a collaborative motion project during which I created a social media campaign that addresses teenage perceptions of sex. I’m a quick learner and I am currently enjoying hand coding this website using HTML and CSS.

Outside of university, I work in the hospitality industry, this has helped my ability to communicate with a range of people. Although I have had some industry insight working in an interior design company, I am keen to gain experience within areas of graphic design and communication. I feel I bring an eye for detail, use colour in an evocative manner and can create beautiful layouts.

I am looking for an internship or work experience over the summer and am open to new challenges and ready to get stuck in. If this might be a possibility, please get in touch. The coffee's on me!
